Helpful guide on creating your character.

- Figure out what kind of experience you would like in-game for the character. Work around a stereotype or archetype that you like and what you would feel fun with.
- Imagine how you would present your character to others in-game and what it's long terms would be.
- Start writing the character tailoring the backstory and personality for the game. You may want to use a character generator for the start part and build around it.
https://www.rangen.co.uk/chars/quickchargen.php - Fill in core aspects about the character's life history. Imagine what that person's life was like. You may come up with more backstory ideas during in-game experience so don't hardwire your character with problematic traits that would hinder your character development. The skeleton basic character info will flower later.
- Figure out why your character is in Kentucky and how it got there – take server lore and current events into account – they may give good ideas and let you melt into the in-game events easier.
- Write skills that are not mechanically related but give wide roleplay possibilities that can be used in cool projects. (example – helicopter pilot, ex-submarine crew, occult knowledge, tunnel miner, diplomatic – some of these things can be related to dice rolls)
- Challenge yourself – the more alien the character is to yourself – the more fun it can be to RP. Though add a few things from yourself so that you can relate to the character and feel comfortable roleplaying it.
- Check what kind of RP you are comfortable on. Remember that you can always inform other players in OOC about exiting a scene in-game.
- AI portrait or a jpg should fit the in-game setting. If you can have similar in-game clothes to the ones on your character picture – that makes the character recognizable and is fun to cosplay your own character.
- Submit your character and log into the game after approval. Take your time to figure out how the character feels in the in-game world. Edit your in-game buffy bio with your profile pic by right clicking your character model in-game picking "Edit bio” (picture must be hosted on https://i.imgur.com ). Add your appearance (so others can imagine your character). You can check other characters descriptions by right clicking on their character models and selecting "View Bio.” It will stimulate RP and your imagination.
- Continue your journey in-game, get a grip of the character's personality, keep adding fluff to your character and developing it through in-game experiences. Pursue your character's needs and goals. Be the character. Roleplay it.
