Some voice chat groundrules and how to get voice chat access
🎙️ Voice Chat Rules
- Listen to your fellow players.
- If someone tells you to knock it off, knock it off.
- Be mindful and if you have a lot of background noise (TV, music, children playing), mute yourself and switch to Press-To-Talk mode in Discord.
- Don't say anything you wouldn't say in public chat.
- No streaming or recording voice chat. We do understand some folks stream their game on sites like twitch and like to hang out in voice chat at the same time. Make sure you are not recording/capturing the conversations of others.
- Don't use VC for in-character discussions/plans/coordination.
- Do not abuse the text to speech app. It's there to help folks who prefer to use it rather than speaking.
- During an active Chapter, VC permissions do not allow screen sharing to prevent metagaming.
- Between Chapters, feel free to play games together.
- You may be able to use third party games like Gartic phone together. Just move to a different channel to not distract others not playing.
If you have VC Problems...
- If you have a problem with someone, address it with them.
- Staff does not moderate VC beefs.
- If someone uses VC to break the rules, report it with a Concern ticket.
- Staff reserves the right to remove VC permissions from anyone who is disruptive.
📝 Voice Chat Access Quiz
Make sure you read the rules before you take the Voice Chat Access Quiz. You'll confirm your Discord, take the quiz and get the role automatically. Report any issues by General Ticket.
- You must already have the 18+ role and the Access Granted role. If you missed the 18+ role in the beginning, you'll get an opportunity to get it before taking the quiz.
